Sleep apnea & children

Poor development of the dental arch in childhood can increase the risk of suffering from sleep apnea as an adult. We recommend a preventive visit to the orthodontist for children around the age of 8 years old. This will provide a diagnosis that reveals any likely tendencies in this direction and ways in which it may be countered if need be.
